Course Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will:
• Understand the basic functions, components, and safety requirements for the CHAINMASTER Electric Chain Hoist.
• Learn and comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and repair common mechanical and electrical issues.
Training Agenda Day 1:
Overview, Regulations, and Basic Maintenance
1. Introduction and System Overview
o Training objectives and expectations.
o Introduction to CHAINMASTER products and hoist applications.
o Hoist key components
2. Regulations and Safety Standards
o Introduction to industry standards.
o Safe handling and operation.
3. Maintenance Fundamentals
o Preventative maintenance procedures.
o Safety protocols during maintenance.
4. Hands-On Maintenance Session
o Practical exercise: inspection of chains, hooks, and brake systems.
o Adjusting system components (e.g., brake tension, slipping clutch).
o Load testing.
o Recording and documenting maintenance tasks.
Day 2:
Troubleshooting, Repair, and Testing
1. Troubleshooting Basics
o Identifying common operational issues
o Diagnostics o Step-by-step problem-solving techniques.
2. Repair Techniques
o Replacing and repairing worn or faulty components.
o Testing after repairs to ensure functionality and safety.
3. Practical Hands-On Repair and Troubleshooting
o Group exercise: diagnose and repair simulated issues under supervision.
4. Assessment and Wrap-Up
o Practical and written test to validate learning outcomes.
o Q&A session for clarifications.
o Feedback and certification of completion.
