Every load-in has that moment. The rigging point in a 1912 house is a half inch off from the drawing, the bracket you need was discontinued twenty years ago, and the shop is closed until Monday. This class is about solving that problem yourself, with a machine that now costs less than a good drill.
This is a beginner course. No design experience, no software experience, no prior contact with a 3D printer required. Printers will be running in the room all day, starting in the first half hour. You will see parts go from an idea to a finished piece you can hold, and you will leave knowing what to buy if you want one of your own.
The instructor has spent 13 years in 3D printing, including building props and custom parts for Broadway, television, and live events. The examples are the kind of problems you already deal with.
