The Training Education and Technology (TET) Fund is the IATSE Local One educational program. The mission of the TET Fund is to provide educational opportunities in all areas of stagecraft for Local One IATSE members and affiliates. The TET Fund was founded in June of 2010 and is supported thru contributions of employers of Local One members.
The TET Fund provides numerous educational classes in all areas of stagecraft. Some of the popular classes provided on an on-going basis are:

  1. Entertainment and Arena Rigging
  2. Audio Visual Technology
  3. ETCP preparation classes for rigging and electric
  4. Networking
  5. Chain motors
  6. Automation
In addition, the TET Fund provides a live streaming educational series that covers topics of current and relevant interest. The live streaming series features both industry and Local One experts.
The TET Fund site contains a calendar of upcoming TET Fund classes and events. The site also provides a catalog and access to previously programed live stream events.
All Local One IATSE members can use the TET Fund Site. In addition, persons affiliated with Local One or the IATSE may request access to the site.
All members of Local One IATSE with an active email address will be emailed an initial account ID and Password along with a link to access the site. To access the site, you must have a valid email address and a valid cell phone number. After you access the site for the first time, you will need to change your initial password by following the instructions on the screen. If you are a Local One member and have not received an initial ID and Password, email the Director at [email protected] If you are not a Local One member but are affiliated with the local, you can register for limited access. To register, you must have a valid email address and a valid cell phone number.
Signing into the TET Fund site is a 2-step process. After you have accessed the site at localonetetfund.org/login you must enter your ID and password. You will then receive an SMS (text message) containing your OTP (one time passcode) to access the site. Enter this passcode where prompted.
To change your password, you will need to sign on to the TET Fund site. Once you have signed on there is an easy to use link which you can use to change your password.
You should immediately change your password if you believe your account with the site has been compromised. Additionally, you should change your password on a monthly or quarterly basis to protect your account from unauthorized access.
