Grab a spot while you can! \nDate: June 29\nTime: 10am-2pm\nLocation: Ferrari Driving School\nAddress: 35-28 19th Ave\, Astoria\, NY 11105 \nEmail Ryan McDonough to register: director@localonetetfund.org \nOnly trained individuals may operate mobile scaffolds\, including aerial lifts and scissor lifts. Our course teaches the important safety and operating principles contained in OSHA standard 1926.454. \nMobile scaffolds of all kinds allow workers to extend their vertical range and perform tasks far above the ground. \nThis OSHA-compliant training isn’t just designed for lift operators. If you work on or around any of the scaffold structures described in 1926.452(w) or 1926.453\, this course is for you. \nStandards for both aerial lifts and scissor lifts are in Subpart L of OSHA’s construction standard (Part 1926). \nSpecific standards relating to these devices include:\n1926.451: Contains general requirements for scaffold safety\n1926.452(w): Provides specific additional requirements for mobile scaffolds\, including scissor lifts\n1926.453: Explores the definitions and safety standards for all types of aerial lifts\n1926.454: Details the training requirements for workers who operate on or near scaffolds\, including aerial lifts and scissor lifts \nThis Aerial and Scissor Lifts course explores all relevant standards and complies with OSHA training requirements for these devices.\nWe demonstrate and go over rules regulations and restrictions when operating these vehicles and hands on training on both apparatuses and training certificate with your photo will be issued upon successful completion of the course. \nAll attendees must bring a government issued photo ID to the class. \nOptional (but helpful) items to bring:\nsteel toed boots\nlong sleeves/ long pants\ngloves\nsafety glasses \nEmail Ryan McDonough to register: director@localonetetfund.org
